Common questions
Will my old app know I migrated?
No. We only read the CSV file you upload. Your old account stays as-is. Use both in parallel if you want.
Will groups be reconstructed too?
Not in this version. The MVP imports each row as a personal expense paid by you. Group + friend reconstruction is on the roadmap (we need to resolve each old-friend name to a LedgeKar account, with placeholders where they haven't signed up yet).
Where does my data live?
On our servers in Helsinki, EU. We don't sell ads, don't share with brokers, don't use your data to train external models. Privacy Notice has the details.
What if my CSV is from a different app?
Right now we auto-detect the most common format. Generic CSV import (with column mapping) is on the roadmap. Email us if you want to be the first to test it: [email protected].
